The server is not connected to the internet to register. When trying to perform an alternative activatiion, I cannot use a license file or a license server. Both return with The license file(s) you provided is not valid for this product. I have the license server up and running and I'm fairly certain the correct license is in place. When running lmstat, it reports the license server is up. The license file itself has the Component PerfAnl specified. Is there somewhere else to look?
I downloaded the latest VTune and license manage software today:
vtune_amplifier_xe_2013_update16

Hi
I am seeking to test the ipp cryptography libraries for a project. I downloaded the the main ipp libraries a week ago, registered and submitted the request form for the cryptography libraries, but I have not had a response. How should I proceed?
Also, I don't seem to have access to the premier support site which I had thought registration would enable.
Many thanks
Martin
Hi,
I am interested in licensing aspects of parallel compile jobs. I plan to use Composer XE compiler on a Linux host with 32 Cores and two Xeon PHI cards.
How are such parallel compile jobs counted for licenses? Does each compiler instance count as a separate "user"?
Please answer this question both for

Hi guys,
I have registered for the non-Commercial Version of Intel IPP and have also received an E-Mail with a Serial number - there was however no license file attached.
Even following availabledocumentation to obtain a license file I am unable to get the license file required for installation (i.e. there is no "manage" button when I logon, the product however is listed). The system that's supposed to take the installation is a gentoo box; the required e-builds and source files are already locally available so I don't want to download another few Gigabytes just for the sake of it. Installation (i.e. emerge in gentoo Terms) however requires the license file.
Could someone from Intel please send me the license file to my E-Mail address.
Thanks in advance.
Got the license links for the products I need, but the setup portion of that asks about a license manager...
When I go to Registration Center Download Center, I don't see a way to option the license manager. Is there a direct download link for this?
Does the license manager need a separate license?
When I trigger a new build for our solution from my development machine in the TFS Build Visual Studio integration, a licensing error prevents the Fortran projects in the solution from succeeding on the build machine:
ifort: error #10310: Failed to enable trusted storage check for licensing: WARNING: Enable Trusted Storage failed (flexnet error code 21). Trusted Storage based license could not be supported
Other project types build okay.
I can build the solution okay on my development machine. If I log in to the build computer and build the solution from the Visual Studio IDE or from the command line using devenv.com, the Fortran projects in the solution build okay and there is no licensing error. I am not using a trial license on the build machine; I am using an activated product license. When logging into the build machine to build the solution I am using the same UAC used by automated TFS build controller.
I am using the following development tools:
Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010
Development Machine: Microsoft Visual Studio Premium 2013 Version 12.0.30110.00 Update 1
Build Machine: Microsoft Visual Studio Premium 2013 Version 12.0.30110.00 Update 1
Build Machine Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, 64-bit (x64)
Intel(R) Visual Fortran Package ID: w_fcompxe_2013_sp1.2.176
Intel(R) Visual Fortran Composer XE 2013 SP1 Update 2 Integration for Microsoft Visual Studio* 2013, 14.0.0086.12
What should I do about this licensing error to successfully build of my solution on a remote computer using TFS build?
Hello,
I want to transfer a licence of visual fortran composer XE(2011 for windows) from old user to another user.
Old user(who currently has licence) has already left our laboratory. But I know the serial number for the licence,
How can I transfer the licence?
Thanks,

Serial Number / License file can be used to install the corresponding Intel products. Posting the Serial Number or License File to a public forum, poses the threat of serial number being used by someone other than you. License File names also includes serial number in them. So, for your protection, please do not post your Serial Numbers, License files, License file names in any public forum.
For most forum questions, we can trace the serial number from Intel Software Registration Center, using your forum e-mail address. If we cannot find the needed information, we will contact you using private threads.
For Desktop Boards, Processors, Chipsets, and Driver Questions please go to Intel Support Community http://communities.intel.com/community/tech?view=overview
When downloading packages from the Intel® Registration Center using Firefox* you may miss scrollbars in product selection dialogs or see empty white bars only (details on the file attached).

Our team is working to resolve this problem. We will announce the fix of the problem on this forum when available.

Problem: After renewal of an Intel® Software Development Product license you may see that the support expiration date hasn't been updated in the Intel® Regsitration Center > 'Subscription History' or the license file you received from the registration center.
This is a temporary problem with the webinterface of the registration center only which will be fixed. The actual license data is correct.
Solution:
Problem:
Product activation with a license server is not working for some software development products. This problem only occurs for floating licenses.
Affected Products:
Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2013 SP1 Update 1 for Linux* and Windows*
Intel® VTune™ Amplifier XE 2013 Update 13 and 14 for Linux* and Windows*
Intel® Inspector XE 2013 Update 8 for Linux* and Windows*
Description:
When installing one of the affected products using product activation via license server you will see an error "The license file provided is invalid", even if the license server is up and running and client-server connection is established.
Workarounds (apply one of them):
- Upgrade Intel® Software License Manager running on the license server to version 2.2.
Download link: https://registrationcenter.intel.com/RegCenter/Download.aspx?productid=1938 (choose the right OS and platform; only users with floating license registrations have access to this link).
- Use serial number (alphanumeric code of format xxxx-xxxxxxxx)
- Use license file (file extension .lic).
Note: Remote activation is not supported for floating licenses.
Hi,
I downloaded Intel MKL 11.1.0 for evaluation. I received an email confirming the download which said "The product license file is attached for your convenience. You may need to copy the file manually to your system." However, there was no attachment. (Maybe it was filtered out by my email provider.) I don't have root access, so I'm trying to install as current user to limit access to user level, which tells me I should have received a license file through email. The license faq pointed me to this forum. Can you resend the evaluation license, or can I get it some other way?
Thanks,
Adrienne
