Flex license and BootCamp/VMware
Hi,
I am using Parallel Studio XE 2013 on Windows 8 on a MacBook Pro. Windows has been installed on its own partition (With the BootCamp drivers). But Windows can be started both natively, or using VMware Fusion from Mac OSX. It seems to drive the licensing system crazy and Intel programs don't want to start from VMware/Windows as they have been installed natively on Windows. Do you have any solution for that problem ?

Intel Software Manager silently fails to activate
I've been trying to register/"Activate" several intel software packages, and despite informing me: "Congratulations! Your purchased product has been activated.", They're not activated. In the registration center, I get "No Products found! If you haven't registered your products, please register."

Is it possible to floating licensing through internet?
Hi,
I have a floating license w/ 2 seats for intel fortran compiler. I set the floating license host server as a desktop at my office.
My question is: Is it possible for me to use my laptop at home as a client and run the fortran compiler? I couldn't figure out how to do that. When I run the lmtools.exe on my laptop and do the perform status enquiry, it always says the following:
"lmgrd is not running: License server machine is down or not responding.
See the system administrator about starting the license server system, or
make sure you're referring to the right host (see LM_LICENSE_FILE)."
So what do I have to do to get it working? (My LM_LICENSE_FILE is set as "port@host", but I guess that's only for intranet floating licensing.)

how to use silent mode to install Intel® Parallel Studio XE Suites

I download l_psxe_online_p_2.1.3.020.sh, and sh l_psxe_online_p_2.1.3.020.sh --help. After that, I see -s, --silent [FILE] run install silently, with settings in the configuration file. However, I do not know the format of configuration file. Is there any more reference to talk about the format of configuration file?

Linux version of IPP isn't showing up in my account
I have a serial number for the Linux version of IPP that I'm sure I registered with my account. I only see the Windows version available and I need access to both the Windows and Linux versions.

What licences have been purchased, how can I manage?
My company has probably bought hundreds of licences over the years. Probably purchased by differing purchasing staff in differing locations. But, I need to get a handle on the licences in the UK.
Background, we have had a server crash and as a result lost licences that users are screaming about. That device will never be recovered. We are trying to get the licence file details. But this raises a wider issue that I do not know what other licences there are held by the company where.
Key users are simply saying can we move the licence. But at present details are unknown, doubt it has been maintained in years etc.
How do I proceed to actively manage an unknown inventory. Probably the only linking feature is email domains for the company in its many previous guises.

Intel Software Manager, Unsupported 16Bit Application

The Software Manager correctly identifies that I have FORTRAN 2013 SP1 Update 2 and offers Update 3. I appear to download the update, it says 100% complete, then I right click install .... then BAM .....

I am running Win 7, 64 Bit. I launched Software Manager as "admin".
This is the first time I have tried this utility, and I did not install the software (corp. environment.... yuck)
I did go to where the "patches" were download but as 6Kb exe ... they are not the "real" patches
Any ideas are welcome.

Being able to open, save, save as, or open and save after download of software files
I cannot open or save my software files after a download is performed: What happens is the following:
I have navigated through the intel.com web site to the point where I can specify the software product I: want to download. Then I start the download. I get notifications to "wait..". Then after about 1 1/2 hours, the "wait.." indications disappear, and a small windows appears at the bottom of the monitor screen, with the statement, "Do you want to open or save?. 'w_ccomp_2013_sp1_3_202_exe' (1.53 GB)". I had already registered this product at the Intel Registration Center. However, my problem might be caused by the fact that I have a "sick" computer. (I am running Windows 8.1 and IE 11).

Purchased Product does not appear in my registration centre account
One of my Intel softwar purchases - Intel® Fortran Composer XE for OS X does not appear on my registration centre account list, though a number of others do.
The offficial advice is on the page entitled "Where to submit download, registration, or licensing issues" to submit this as an issue via Premier supprt, but when I attempt that I receive a message

Intel® Composer XE for Linux - Transfer License
Our license manager node went down so we had to move it to another server.
The person who did licensing for this product left for another company.
I have access to his account on Registration Center but cannot get to "Modify Host Information."

Reinstalling IMLS 6.0 with expired license
Hello,
I am switching computers and trying to reinstall IMLS 6.0 from w_fcompxe_imsl_2013_sp1.0.024.exe on the new computer. My serial Number isn't recognized as valid due to expired license. This wasn't a problem when reinstalling Visual Composer; I just had to choose the latest version that was still within my support window.
How to install IMSL, which was paid for?

HOW TO ACCESS FILES AFTER DOWNLOADING
How do you find / access the Intel C++ Composer XE software module that was (apparently), downloaded. All indications were that the download processed in a normal manner, as me, a reasonable customer, one that possessed at least intermediate knowledge of software development might expect. After about an hour after initiating the download, I received a message at the bottom of the monitor screen, offering 3 choices, to save, to save as, or, open and save. I selected open and save, but I couldn't locate the software using a search on the name given again, on the bottom of the monitor screen, which happened to be: "w-ccompxe_2013_sp1_202_exe". I performed this download, which was supposed to be 1.53 GB in size, 3 times. Later, in navigating through the intel.com web site, there was an indication that this software didn't exist!
If anyone is familiar with this problem, please reply. Thanks.

No serial number for evaluation version?
Hi,
I downloaded an evaluation version of Intel® Visual Fortran Composer XE for Windows* 2013 SP1. But I didn't get a serial number or license file. When I installing it, I have only one choice to select "Evaluate this product" at the Activation tab. After installing the software, it doesn't work! Other ways all require a serial number or license file. What should I do?

Evaluation Fortran Compiler does not work for Users
I am having an issue with my evaluation copy of Fortran. Running ifort as root seems to work, but I can't figure out how to make it work for a user. I never received an email with attached license file like I've seen other posts mention, but I did install it with the "Evaluate Product" licensing option. I've tried to register to download a license, but I don't have a serial number because it's an eval version. Here is the error users are seeing:
