Windows uninstallation of Parallel Studio XE 2017 u2

I am unable to uninstall Parallel Studio XE 2017. I get the following screen:

The same screen appears if I try to repair the installation first. The same screen appears regardless if I run installer from add/remove programs or setup.exe from disk. I tried the tool from microsoft : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-p... which was suggested in one of the posts but without luck. The setup ends right at the first component (I think it writes something about sortcuts).

Help is really welcome as I really need to remove it.

Can I use student license in multiple computers?

Hi,

I am using Parallel Studio XE 2013 SP1 with a student license. I want to install the product in another computer. Is this possible?

When trying to load the installer on the second computer, it gives the error "Activation rights do not allow this software to be installed. This could be due to expired subscription or incompatible serial number".

I would appreciate if someone can kindly help me on this regard.

Windows - Parallel Studio C++/Fortran 2017 Update 4 installation crash

Hi,

I just tried to install update 4, and it crashes the installation right at the end after updating all the packages, trying to update the tools in VS2015.  I have VS2017 installed as well, but it never gets to there.  It's done this three times now.

Which logs do you need?

I am seeing an installation failure on this just released version.  I have tried the off and on-line installers and both fail in the same way.  

The package downloads and decompresses to a local folder without any problems.  After this the product installation display appears and a series of component loads are displayed ending with config.xml, after which the installer abruptly exits.

I am running Windows 10 Professional version 1703 (OS Build 15063.296).

I would appreciate any help with this issue.

Hi

Installation of "parallel studio xe 2017 professional" crashed (in the same way upgrades of the 2016 editions crashed).

This is the error message:

Windows Installer failed to configure product:

Fortran complier doesn't work without license

Hello,

I have installed the Intel Parallele Studio X2016 for using subroutines in abaqus. It works since one month but this monday it doesn't work.

The error information in the .log is like below:

Error: A license for Comp-FW could not be obtained (-1,359,2).

Is your license file in the right location and readable?
The location of your license file should be specified via
the $INTEL_LICENSE_FILE environment variable.

License file(s) used were (in this order):
    1.  Trusted Storage
    2.  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\\Intel\Licenses\*.lic

I uses student version and serial number normally should be available until next year. I even check the Intel Software Manager in which it says ''Support expires on wednesday 11 April 2018''.

It seems that I should have a license but I have only received the serial number.

Need new ICC academic license for new server

We have had a previous Academic License and need to replace the hardware.

I need a new FlexLM license, either completely new, or to replace our existing one. The FQDN and mac address are changing so we can't just copy the old one.

installation Hang : intel parallel studio XE 2016 update 3

Hi

I have recently registered for intel parallel studio  XE 2016 update 3,  for a Linux SuSE machine [13.2] and

when I tried the installation [using text mode / GUI] it really hangs and hence I couldnt complete the installation.

The problematic step is the one which I enter the LICENSE number -after it really takes a long time and do nothing.

Previously I had installed an intel Parallel studio version and I removed manually it [without using uninstall.sh script].

Did it created the problem? Can anyone help?

Downloading System Studio in Cancun

Hi I'm on vacation in Cancun yet need to download an evaluation copy of System Studio. I have received a trial license, but when I ask to download a windows version, there is nothing. No versions of the software are available to download: all I get is this message and a trade-control message below that.

The product updates/upgrades below are available based on your support subscription status.

What am I doing wrong (apart from trying to work while on vacation...)??

hanging parallel studio xe 2016 update 3 on Linux

Hi all

I was trying to install:  intel parallel studio xe 2016 update 3 on my IA32 suse linux.

Everything was OK and when I submit the SERIAL NUMBER [or License], then It takes really long time and nothing is happening (I tried both Text as well as GUI mode of installation).

I checked my internet connection during this process and it seems fine.

Can anyone give any hint about this? Also is it possible to bypass this step if I have a valid License number?

One more doubt: I am trying this in office, Does a fire-wall can block this activation process?

Год назад, для учебных целей, я получал ключи на комплект программ 

Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition для Windows * (все инструменты)

 

11 мая 2017 года они закончились. Как мне можно получить новые ключи? В ЛК нету подобных функций.

Using old Intel Libraries with a Community License

I'm aware that users cannot download old library versions with a Community License; however, if the Community License user has access to an old version, which was originally downloaded under a named-user/floating commercial license owned by the user's employer, is it permissible for the Community License user to use the older library version?

Downloading a Previously-Licensed Product

I've had active licenses for the "Intel Parallel Studio XE Professional Edition for Fortran Windows" software for several years. My most recent license expired February 2017. Recently my computer's hard drive crashed, had to be reformatted, and I am in the process of re-installing all my old software.

When I log into my account on Intel's website to download an older version of the Parallel Studio software, everything is listed as "no access unless renewed" -- even versions that were released prior to my support expiration date.

If I go separately to the "Intel Registration Center" and enter my old product serial numbers, I receive the message: "Serial number is invalid".

I've tried following the instructions in the FAQ for installing older versions (https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/older-version-product), but I do not see an "expired products " toggle in the header section of the Intel Registration Center page.

How do I obtain an older version of this software (that was released under my licenses' support end date)?

Cannot apply for free Intel® Software Development Tools student program

Hello there,

I want to download Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition, but my university e-mail does not get recognized.

This is the error message I receive requesting the package:

We cannot offer you our software development tools at this time because the email address you shared does not correspond to a degree-granting academic institution. If you are with such an institution, please resubmit your request with your academic institution issued email address.

I'm a student at TU Darmstadt in Germany, and the mail ends with @stud.tu-darmstadt.de.

Any help would be appreciated.
