I registered to the Community Licensing for Intel® Performance Libraries and got a serial number, with links to download files.
Having downloaded the MKL install package for Linux, I find it impossible to install the library as the serial number gets rejected; here is the message I receive during the installation process:
"The serial number you provided is not valid for product Intel(R) Math Kernel Library 2017 for Linux"

Installation of PS XE 2017 Cluster edition balked and did rollback when installing after Parallel Studio XE 2016 Update 3 (non-Cluster edition) on Windows 7 Pro x64 with MS VS 2010 and MS VS 2012->2013 upgrade.
I am uninstalling PS XE 2016u3 now and will retry when uninstall completes.
FWIW, this system had issues installing PS XE 2016 over 2015, had to uninstall that too.
It would be nice to keep various versions installed for regression testing....

I'm failing to install and activate Intel Fortran compiler on CentOS7 via network license manager.
When activation, select "2. Use Intel(R) Software License Manager" and enter correct ip and port number of the license server.
After that, no response from the installer over few hours. so I need to give up the activation.
The client Linux is located in AWS. The license server is in company office.
I verified that port 28518 is open in packet level. Are there any things should I do?

I'm trying to download a trial version of Parallel Studio 2013 SP1. What I did was going to the Parallel Studio XE download site (following a link that was e-mailed to me), selecting "Additional downloads, latest updates and prior versions", and then picking "2013 SP1" from the "Version" list. However, when I click on "Download Now" I get a 404 error page. This happens for both 2013 and 2013 SP1, regardless of whether I pick the light (20 MB) installer or the full one.
Needless to say, this is quite annoying. I don't have (nor intend to have, for now) a Registration Center account so I can't download from there either.
I work for a large corporation, and so the purchase process for M&S on licenses for the Intel products is convoluted. My group just renewed M&S on two licenses, and I received the e-mail with serial numbers forwarded through from our procurement department.
When I try to register the serial numbers, the Intel website tells me they are already registered. I did this for one product, and it told me I could upgrade the product to the 2017 version, which I did. The website generated a few bits of e-mail, one of which included a new serial number for the upgrade. When I tried to generate a license for the product using the new serial number, I again got a response from the website saying the license was already registered.
I need to be able to generate the actual license files for these products manually, as the license server isn't on the public internet. However, I can't do that without signing in, which then takes me to the list of licenses I have--which doesn't include these renewals--and I can go no further since these serial numbers are already registered.
Please help!

We have two seats for the intel compiler ( Intel® Parallel Studio XE Composer Edition for Fortran and C++ Linux* ), we've been running it for several years. I just bought the license renewal to keep it current until November of 2017. I got several emails about the purchase, containing lots of information. But nowhere in this email does it says something like "Here is what you do to update the license server" or "follow this link to a list of instructions on how to update the license server so it will use the renewed license" or (I wish) "You don't need to do anything to make this renewal take effect, the server will update itself over the network."
So I don't know whether I am supposed to do something or not, and if so what to do or where to find instructions. What is step one?
When I started Visual Studio 2015 this morning, I immediately got an exception due to an extension. I also got a task bar notification that Intel Parallel Studio had new updates. When I clicked this notification, ISM started, so I clicked the blue Update buttons for Data Analytics (DA), Composer for Fortran (CF), Professional Edition for Fortran (PEF), and MKL. The progress shown by ISM was
1) DA queued (qd); CF preparing downloading (pd); PEF downloading x% (dl); MKL pd.
2) After a while, this changed to DA pd, CF dl, PEF error (err), MKL dl.
3) Next, DA pd, CF dl, PEF err, MKL err.
4) Then DA err, CF dl, PEF err, MKL err.
5) Finally, installation of CF begins (other 3 still showing err), and after several minutes of apparently successful installation, the installer crashes (exception code 80000003).
Some kind of error happens virtually every time I use ISM to do updates. I have reported some of these via Premier support, but nothing seems to have been fixed.

When I try to generate a license file it claims that the serial number is already in use. It seems like a common problem but the solution in every other forum is to private message someone so hopefully someone will respond. Thanks!

The trial version was the “parallel_studio_xe_2016_composer_edition_for_fortran” was running properly on this environment & matching our expectations.
The version we just bought, is the “parallel_studio_xe_2017_composer_edition_for_fortran”
We can not succeed the setup process, we got the following message:
Machine CPU architecture IA-32 not supported
Could someone help for this?

... after installing version 2017.

I'm trying to install r-mkl on Arch Linux. I already installed packages intel-compiler-base, intel-fortran-compiler and intel-mkl from the package base intel-parallel-studio-xe, and placed the LIC file (with my community license) in "/opt/intel/licenses/", but compiling r-mkl fails reporting licencing issues. I believe the following ouput should be relevant:

I have Windows 10, 64 bit and last week, without warning and while I was away from my PC, the Anniversary Windows 10 upgrade happened. It took forever to complete and once done, I encountered many problems with sound and drivers and also that all my restore points had been deleted.
My drivers are now all up to date, including those for Intel products. However I have yellow exclamation mark next to the Intel(R) Active Management Technology - SOL (COM3) in my Device Manager. When I clicked on it, the error message is "This device cannot start. (Code 10). A device which does not exist was specified".
Under Resource Settings, it says "This device isn't using any resources because it has a problem"
I have looked at the Events tab and at the time of the upgrade, it appears that there was a series of events (10) such as Device installed, Device deleted, Device migrated, Driver service added, a multiple number of times. None of this was initiated by me and I am the sole use of this PC.
The question is, do I need this software, and if so, where can I find it for re-installation. Also, where did it go?
I posted a request for support in the Premier support area. It has been 14 days and no one form Intel has responded. Is this typical? How can I get someone to review my issue?
Our company is using a floating license. To direct our developer machines to the license, we place a UseServer.lic file at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Licenses. This files contains the name of our license server, along with some port information. That works well for all of us, except for one developer with a Windows 7, 64-bit machine. (The rest of us are on Windows 10, 64-bit.) The Intel Software Manager on the Windows 7 machine does not seem to be able to figure out how to get to the license server,and it insists on asking for a serial number for that individual developer. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

We have some issues on license update.
One of colleagues installed evaluation version of intel parallel studio 2016 on windows 7 laptop. As we have 7 floating licenses, we tried to convert his license as license server, but "intel software manager" keeps making warning that evaluation expired. We tried complete removal/re-installation but same message comes.
1) in cmd window, ifort.exe works (!)
2) echo %INTEL_LICENSE_FILES% indicates the correct path of license file location
3) Just intel software manager shows evaluation expired, and we cannot update this computer (parallel studio on other windows laptop works fine).
Any comment or suggestion would be highly appreciated.

I have the license file in the 2nd location that was looked for but I can't checkout the flexlm license. I have a named-user (system locked) commercial license. Would there be an issue running visual fortran compiler 12.1 and having a license corresponding to INTEL 2017? I've exhausted most of the resources I've found online and don't know where to go from here.

IFORT: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license

I have a student license of the Intel Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition. I use the Intel software tools (Fortran Compiler and MKL) to make some highly advanced quantum chemistry calculations, and for that I use 11 computers. Last year I was able to install the tools in 6 of these 11 computers with no problem. This year my license expired, so I got a new one. This week I got 5 new computers and I am trying to install with the new license without sucess.
I use a linux system, and when I try to install with the new serial number I got an error saying the the serial number is not valid. I am sure that I inserted it correctly.
How should I proceed?

I am trying to migrate my Fortran installation from an old PC to a new machine. I have the serial number but I don't have the installation files. I tried registering on the website to download the installation files but it says my serial number has expired. I am not trying to install new releases, just the original Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2013 Update 1 with VS2010. How can I obtain the installation files which are covered by my license?
